Training course on communication

The Training course on communication took place in February 2021 at the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology – center of Zarzis, Tunisia.

The three days course, organized by the Regional Commissioner for Agricultural Development of Médenine : (CRDA Médenine) involved 24 representatives – women and men – from local groups and professional organizations involved in the aquaculture sector..

The training sessions aimed at the following objectives:

• provide notions on basic communication skills;
• increase the knowledge on communication concepts and strategies to help the participants to communicate skillfully with the community and stakeholders.
• provide tools for the development of a communication strategy: identify mission,  objectives and choose proper communication actions to achieve them.
• building networking opportunities 
• test their skills with the support of practical cases.

As a result of the training, participants have improved their skills, understood the importance of adopting good practices and increased their capacity in internal and external communication. The heterogeneity of the training group gave participants the opportunity to discuss their experiences and interact with each other, while establishing mutually beneficial relationships and professional links.
