GEMAISA Project delivers 6 Tons of fodder to 3 Women Groups in Fayoum – Egypt
On Thursday 3rd June 2021, the Egyptian team, distributed 6 tons of fodder to 3 women groups in 3 different villages in Sennoures District in Fayoum to start their own business collectively.
At the presence of Mr. Rabee Mostafa – the Undersecretary of Agriculture Directorate in Fayoum, Mr. Mansour –owner of Dexter – the supplier company – delivered the fodder to GEMAISA Local Team and women beneficiaries.
A short seminar addressed to GEMAISA women beneficiaries was also held during the delivery.
Dr. Wessam El Kassas – GEMAISA National Coordinator, inaugurated the seminar by introducing project’s objectives and activities to the participants. Mr. Mansour – the owner of Dexter Company, made a presentation on the fodder market, explaining how to get the most benefit out of it and he promised continuous support from his company to the rural women, in order to keep their businesses ongoing as a part of the company CSR.
On the other side, Mr. Rabee Mostafa the Undersecretary of Agriculture Directorate in Fayoum, expressed his thanks to GEMAISA project’s efforts. He also explained to the rural women all available services that the Agriculture Directorate can provide. The seminar ended with an open discussion between rural women and the participants.
